Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 6 Episode 3 Review + Amiciness Picks

Jesslyn left a letter for the Loud Girls. The remaining Loud Girls are in tears. The house is much quieter now that Jesslyn’s gone home. Mia is a bit disappointed that Jesslyn and her didn’t get to resolve their drama. Thanh Vy “predicts” that now that Jesslyn is gone, another girl with a big personality will replace her soon.

Monika is not doing too well; she’s down to her last two girls. Tu is, as usual, not happy with her girls’ performances. “If you don’t love yourself, who love yourself then?” That needs to be on a Hallmark card! 😂 Shikin thinks her girls are doing good but not great still.

Challenge: Rhythm Cycling

The girls arrive at Absolute Cycle Bangkok for a rhythm cycling session. Thanh Vy thinks that this will be a challenge after her fainting spell last week. Dana thinks it wouldn’t be as stressful because of her dance background. Rubini knows she can dance, but maybe not on a cycle.  The girl are taught the basics of rhythm cycling. The challenge is to use the moves they just learned to make their own original choreography. The teams:

  • Adela, Jachin, Mia
  • Dana, Beauty, Thanh Vy
  • Pim, Han, Rubini

Yaasss at this available-for-commercial-use music! 😂

Challenge Winner: Adela, Jachin, Mia

Jachin wins another challenge yet again. The winning team wins a spa day reward. “To the other girls who didn’t win, thank you for not doing as well as me,” Adela says. The sass! 😂 While all the girl were having fun, Thanh Vy was not happy at all.

Photo shoot: Wrestling

The girls are doing an 80’s-inspired wrestling photo shoot, “The Belle of the Brawl”. (So I guess they can’t mention Netflix’s GLOW? 😂) They need to bring out their best ugly beautiful, Yu Tsai says. The girls are shooting in pairs for a wrestling-themed photo shoot. As the FCO for the previous episode, Mia gets a unique advantage. She can choose who she wants to be paired with after looking at everyone else’s performance at the shoot. But a twist: the girl she picks will only be judged on the photo with Mia. Pratch Siridhara is the photographer.

  • Adela & Thanh Vy
  • Rubini & Han
  • Pim & Jachin
  • Beauty & Dana
  • Mia & Dana

Jachin: “I must channel my inner Manny Pacquiao”

Mia chooses Dana to be her partner in the photo.

The panel this week is Cindy, Yu Tsai and Miss Universe Thailand 2017, Mareeya Poonlertlarp.

  1. 1. Pim
    2. Adela
    3. Jachin

    4. Dana- lifeless eyes and awkward hand placements among other things, but I guess I liked it better than the other ones, which says a lot.
    5. Rubini- ironic she got the boot the time she finally had her chin down
    6. Beauty- idk why but she looks lost again??
    7. Mia- ok this just looks silly up close, I honestly would place this on a much higher spot, probably even 1st if it is as good as it looks from 10 meters away from my screen
    8. Han- I’m mildly infuriated that this girl is still here. She hasn’t shown potential, especially considering she can do a LOT with that face.
    9. Thanh Vy- I think out of everyone Thanh Vy is the least one to get the “wrestling” concept. And.. UGH. This photo is just too wacky for me to even appreciate.
